A slanted notebook...?

While reading through the Fountain Pen Network to catch up on the paper scene, I happened upon a thread: "An Interesting Paper Idea". And frankly, i'm not sure what i think about it...

Anyway, his interesting idea is slant ruling on a notebook, his answer to the way that a lot of people sort of twist their notebooks when writing in them. So, here's his notebook with a 45 degree ruling.

I'm not crazy about it - not being much of a notebook slanter myself, but there may be something to it...if nothing else, the pages do kind of have an art deco vibe...
